Compleat Angler
We were friends for years with Ossie Brown and all the other Brown family members and I actually learned to play the ring game in Brown's Bar, years ago. So many good times and good memories! "Devil" ,the bartender at the Angler for years, used to put money up on me and I always made him proud! Somehow men seemed to think Gal's couldn't put the ring on the hook!
Summer 2009
Hello again from BiminiRing Game Centre. Summertime is in full swing, although you would never know it by the weather in the Midwest and Northeast. Too bad! It will get better.
We have had some great competition in South Florida and the Jersey Shore. I see "Tommy "Sticks" is getting ready in E. Hanover putting in some extra time before the Ortley Beach Showdown with "Jimmy The Crypt". Possible new champ emerging. Get ready Beach Haven!
Locally, the Cruzan Rum Bar in Palm Beach Gardens is jamming with competition. World famous Square Grouper on the Jupiter Inlet also has plenty of tossers. Some pretty good and some...well they'll get better.
I have had some pretty good stories sent to me and I will be resurrecting the blog and posting them there. Send me your stories and I'll be sure to post it subject to approval. One from Bimini:
"I walked into the Complete Angler in Bimini with my husband several years ago and there was a large group of guys playing the ring toss game for money. My husband asked how much to get in the game and we were told $5. My hubby threw $5 on the floor and they told him to go ahead and shoot. He informed them that his wife would be shooting. Everyone laughed. I hooked the ring 8 consecutive times, walked away with $180 and a big smile! Of course I have been playing the ring game in Bimini for over 40 years! Unfortunately the Complete Angler is gone but the memories remain!"
Now gambling of course is illegal so we don't sanction this behavior but... You go Girl! Let's hear your stories.
We had a great run from players gearing up for Memorial Day and Father's Day. Let's keep it going. You can still get your games in time for Father's Day if you order by Thursday the 18th. Graduations are in full swing and of course the Fourth of July is so close. Don't be left without a BiminiRing Game for your picnics. These are great games for indoors or out. Poolside or basements. Basement ceilings are at perfect height in most cases. I know we celebrated a bunch of birthday parties and holidays in Uncle T''s basement. If only we were playing BiminiRing instead of darts, my cousin Joey wouldn't have that scar in his head today. Oh well!
Speaking of Memorial Day, I have to vent. I rode around my neighborhood and several other surrounding neighborhoods and was saddened by how few flags were flying that day. Even this past Flag Day June 14th, there were basically none. Now I am not a veteran of any war and was never even a Cub Scout let alone Boy Scout. My father was a proud Eagle Scout and is a WWII Veteran going strong at 89 yrs young. I know he was disappointed. In these troubling economic and political times, let's not forget who we are. Fly that Flag Proud! Fourth of July is on a Saturday this year. Fly it all weekend!! Take it in at night and put it out when you have your coffee. What better way to say "Thank You" for our freedom.

Fathers Day 2008
Hello again from BiminiRing.com. What a year!!! It's summertime. We have a great summer schedule set up and we’ll be bringing the game to you. Get ready South Jersey, Chicago and oh yes...NYC. We have a new web site that should make it easier than ever to order standard and custom games. What great but also "warped" ideas some of you have. We finally got Italy on the map. Those crazy Italians finally figured out how great Chianti goes with BiminiRing. Unfortunately they have a lot of Guinea Tee's with wine stains on them. Done be shamed Gino. Father's day is coming fast. What a great and simple gift. You should place the order no later than June 10th to be sure it gets there in time. And don't forget about Fourth of July. July 2007 Happy fourth of July
Hello again from The BiminiRing Game Centre.
Thanks to everyone placing those orders and sending along some pictures. Now that the Sopranos is over, or is it, we can go on with our lives. The hot spot for orders this month has been Indiana. Spotted at Bub’s Burgers and Ice Cream in Carmel, a blurb was in the Indiana Monthly Home magazine. Thank you Andrea!
We had great fun at Wheel’s house on Jupiter Island recently. Four generations of players competing. Check out "Great Margie" at 88 yrs young, and "Tiny Dancer" on our "Who's Play'n" page. And how about the boys on "Masque", the 65’ Viking out of the JIB Club. They stole the show and the "doe" from the Abaco Billfish Challenge in Marsh Harbour, Bahamas. What do ya think they did when they weren’t rigging baits…drinking of Course and playin BiminiRing. Way to go Klaus!
Well South Florida is finally getting some much needed rain. I hope it plans on stopping though. We have a 4th of July to celebrate next week. You can still get your games in time for your picnics and parties. If you order by Saturday, we will ship priority mail. If you’re not too far off in the boonies (like Keith in Colombus, NE), you’ll have your order in 2 days. Don’t put it off. If you know someone who wants one, forward this email to them.

Feb 2007 newsletter
The New Year is off and running and boy has the weather here in Jupiter Florida been awesome. That’s why we live here. Even the fishing has picked up. At the end of the day, what’s left… a good tasty beverage and a game of BiminiRing©.
We had some pretty good parties over the holidays and a real wing-dinger at the “Sugar Shack” in Tequesta, FL. A quiet little abode by day, “Sugar Shack” by night. Check out a couple of pictures posted on the new “Who’s Play’n” page www.BiminiRing.com/who.htm. We even have a quick video of “Kilroy” in action. “Corvette Cammi” was lighting it up showing us how it’s done with style. Was that champagne?
We had a good time down in South Beach too. Benji-man the host of lots of rum and fun. That was one soggy Super Bowl.
We had a little glitch of late on our site and I know some of you had problems ordering games. Not good! I think we worked out the kinks, got rid of the “finks” and introduced PayPal as a payment option. Most major credit cards are still accepted. It’s very easy to order now and we have plenty of inventory. Orders will ship within 24 hrs. We had orders lately from a variety of places in Maryland, Delaware, The good ole Jersey Shore, Massachusetts, Alabama, Montana, Pennsylvania, South Florida, Northern Florida, (Danny Boy at Florida State), the boys at Ohio State (sorry about that Gator spankin), Louisiana and Arkansas.
